Crown Park Resort owners are entitled to a special Friends of the Smokies membership. Friends of Great Smoky Mountains National Park was organized in 1993 when citizens from surrounding communities voiced concerns about the needs of the Park. The mission of the Friends is to assist the National Park Service through raising funds and public awareness, as well as providing the means by which volunteers can get directly involved.
Since its founding, the Friends have raised over $8 million and now have over 15,000 members. We are proud to be associated with this important organization and encourage everyone to get involved in helping to preserve this natural treasure for generations to come. |
